After college she went on to gain extensive knowledge in glassblowing, culminating in her small studio glass business which produced one-off pieces for a discerning market.

She also gained a PGCE teaching qualification and began tutoring students on art and design courses.

After taking a five-year break to have a family, Jill returned to college and studied Interior Design to professional level, achieving an Advanced City & Guilds qualification.

Since then she has pursued a career in Interior Design where she teaches the subject at various institutions ,as well as privately, and offers a personal design consultancy service.

Jill thoroughly enjoys the process of linking up her various skills in the design field and helping others to consider the choices available to them. She has extensive knowledge about the world of design and has a friendly, approachable attitude.

Her personal motto – inform, instruct, inspire – is how she approaches and delivers each new project.
